Macaroni and Cheese.
I like my mac & cheese on the dry side.
You don't see puddles of cheese sauce here.
But don't think the dish is lacking in cheese. Oh, no....there's plenty of cheese in this casserole.
Underneath the crunchy crust of Italian-seasoned bread crumbs & real butter, you will find creamy milk-softened pasta shells covered in sharp Cheddar cheese.
Believe me when I say each time I raised the pasta-filled fork to my mouth I experienced a moment of pure pleasure.
Now I am off to do a few sit ups (if I can still lift my upper body!).
Let the Basting Begin!

It is 11:30 at night and I'm feeling a little bit hungry and once again I have clicked on your site and there is the MOST DELICIOUS looking pasta dish. Zoey if you keep this up I will be 20 lbs heavier by xmas. Having said that, could you post your recipe, please. TWT

Now there's an exercise program I could stick to!
TWT, I don't have a recipe. I just cooked 16 oz. of pasta al dente, threw in cheese (about a bag and a half of shredded cheddar), dumped in a couple cups of milk, 3/4 stick of butter,pepper. Sprinkled bread crumbs on top and then drizzled 1/4 cup butter over them. Then I threw it in the oven for 35 minutes. Simple, easy, delish.

LOL. Lots of times I mix a bunch of different cheeses--whatever I have on hand.
I love homemade mac & cheese so much, I only make it when I have company, so I won't eat the whole thing.

ReplyDeleteI think we've just about seen the last of our tomatoes. I spotted a couple of strays this morning, but that's about it.
Your potato dishes also looked great and the deck party sounded like a hit. I like the size of the deck too. His pond is also looking good.
