Yesterday at work one of my customers decorated her tables with these centerpieces. She used hydrangeas, globe thistle, a green apple in the middle and some shrubby spike with tiny white flowers. Then she twisted some wire and stuck it in.She had three of these little votives around the main piece.
I thought they were quite cute.

I think the shrubby white spike is Clematis paniculata--Sweet Autumn Clematis. Did you notice if it was fragrant?
