Making Miscellaneous Christmas Quilt Blocks
-
At the moment, I have no idea what will become of these quilt blocks I have
been making for the past couple of weeks. I guess they will remain in this
bin...

It seems to be that way most time we go to Atlantic City. A few years ago, we were down there with my father-in-law and he gave me $20. I played a standard machine (with the 3 rows) and didn't I get up to like $240 in a few pulls. I cashed out right away. A few years ago we gave mom a few quarters and she won about $65. She was very happy.
ReplyDeleteYour butterfly shots are beautiful!
Very nice pictures. The valerian would look great in my moon garden. Does it have a scent?
ReplyDeleteZoey - I'm sure you won't be offended if I correct your quote. You probably already know that it is "The love of money is the root of all evil." That surely is the truth when you look at the crime in today's society. I hope you had fun even if you didn't win a fortune.
ReplyDeleteBeverley - Valerian does have a scent - if you put it in a vase it smells like dog droppings, which is such a shame because it's a great cut flower.
Awwww too bad you didn't win at the casino...your luck is just like mine! lol Love the pictures...great job on getting shots of the butterflies!
ReplyDeleteOh well...money ain't everything!
ReplyDeleteLook at your pretty flowers and the butterfly...money can't buy those!
:-D
dog droppings? LOL, Alice. I have never brought it inside, but the scent outside is just very sweet and not at all repulsive (to me at least).
ReplyDeleteThe "root of all evil" was just to make me feel better about losing all my money...I'm not offended at all...but now I just feel worse about not winning.........heehee...not really....just kidding.
Thank for the nice comments about the butterflies. I love to walk around taking pics of everything that likes to visit my garden.
