I made this quilted one quite a few years ago. See that nickel covering that center square? The square it is covering is made from 4 pieces. That's how small these pieces are. I must have been masochistic back then!
It was back in the days when I was trying my hand at miniature quilts. I could never find a purpose for the mini quilts so I stopped making them.
Let the Basting Begin!

I am using my dining room table to baste this big one -- it's about 105 x
105 inches (king size).
It's been a while since I've finished one this big.

Zoey, what a lot of work such nice socks!
ReplyDeleteI wish you a nice Christmastime and a happy new year!
Sigrun
Thank you, Sigrun. I wish the same to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteLove your stocking! The squares are tiny. I am fascinated with small quilts-what great wall hangings and doll bed covers they would make. I have some Wizard of Oz fabric and would like to make a doll bed cover for my niece-maybe someday I'll just do it. : ) She's going on 8 and may lose interest in dolls in the next few years.
ReplyDeleteThe Christmas tree squares are great too!
Zoey, I was looking at some gardening blogs and found yours. I'm currently in an RV and doing my 'snowbird' blog instead of my gardening one - but gardening is my passion. Came here, read, and now I am exhausted! Do you ever sleep, woman? I don't know how you get all this done! Great blog. Thanks for sharing.
