Proven Winner Site - Great Inspiration

I found a great site to while away a few weekend hours.  It is the Proven Winner site and there are a number of clickable magazines with tons of inspiration ideas for your garden.

Gigantic Pot People in a Gorgeous Garden

It is still cold and windy, so I was happy to find the current issue of Midwest Living in my mailbox when I got home from work. 

I love this Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin  garden  with huge 12-ft tall pot people! The article says they are appropriately named Terra and  Cotta.....gotta love that!

I think the skirt is an upside down flower pot, but I am not sure.  This garden belongs to Dale and Joan Jeanquart.  Their garden is on two lots--just like mine--except their second lot is much more manicured with nice trees---I don't see any ugly pine trees.  I think they have done a great job working together to create this wonderland, don't you agree?

Other Gardens that Inspire Me

Like many of you, we got hit with that big snowstorm a few days ago. It did not bother me much since I was fortunate enough to be able to search garden sites while being lulled by the buzz of someone else pushing the snow blower.

I found some inspirational photos from this site.

In the riot of color in this garden, it is the red table that catches my eye. I have a similar table with four chairs. It came to me red. I hated the red color and have painted it 4 or 5 different colors in the years I've owned it.
 For the past couple of years, I have been considering changing it back to red! I am unpredictable like that.

Look how gorgeous succulents can be in triplicate hay racks.

Oh, to have a little cottage up north with a view like this! It seems like I have drooled over this one before.
