Pain in the Posterior Pine Pollen

Say that 3 times!
I have this large pine tree in the corner of my deck which provides wonderful shade

But not so wonderful

Pollen

Fortunately the pollen falls for just a few days. Since we had a good rain last evening, it may have knocked most of it down already. . . crossing my fingers that that is the case...because this stuff is a real mess.

  1. Hello Zoey....
I’m pleased you found my blog and I thank you for the comment you left about my painted furniture. I’m so pleased with how light it has made the conservatory look, I’m now thinking of my next project, that of painting the tongue & grooved in the hall.

I can see what you mean about the falling pollen, I hope you don’t suffer from hay-fever. Marion

  2. Ugh, I have the same problem with our pine trees...every morning I have to go wash off all the pollen off the patio tables and chairs and then by afternoon it's covered again! Even on the cars you can see a layer of yellow all the time.
