Such a Beautiful Time of the Year

The crabapple tree in my front yard.

In a comment below, herblover asked what another name for verbena was.
Hmmmmm...I don't know any other name.
Does anyone know?

  1. Another name for Verbena is VERVAIN. I didn't know that without looking it up; I've only ever known it as Verbena.

Your front garden is looking beautiful again. As always, I'm amazed at the transformation from the winter scenes.

  3. Oh this crabapple is gorgeous! We planted one a week ago and this is the color I wanted. I think hubby ordered another red...lack of communication here!
Isn't it funny that my redbud turned out to be a red crabapple? We laughed about that one :) I guess we didn't do our research very thoroughly. We had written down that we planted redbuds around that time. I guess they didn't survive...along with several other trees from the Arbor Day Foundation. I wonder how often those plants survive. We haven't had much luck with them.
