Finished the Top of the Storage Cabinets

When I got home from work today, I spent two hours in the kitchen. I cleaned the top of the big storage cabinets, washed the fronts with Murphy's Oil soap, scrubbed the floor and rearranged the top of the cabinets.

I decided to use only white items on the top with the freshly-painted green crate in the center. I shopped the basement and found the two identical pitchers that I put in front of the crate.

Here is the nighttime view with only the lights on that are on the cabinet tops.

Here it is with a flash:
At the moment I am happy with it. I know it's super clean up there and I have something different to look at for a few months.

Now I only have a small section above the kitchen desk to do. It can wait for another time.

  1. It looks great, Zoey! VERY pretty at night with the lights it! That's a good job done, isn't it? xo Diana

  2. Zoey, a change is always nice..I like what you changed. The lights add a great touch!

  3. It looks so pretty and fresh Zoey. Hubby did a good job on painting your crates and they look lovely above your cabinets.

  4. Thanks, everyone. I just finished the last section and I am very happy to have it all done!

  5. It looks great Zoey. I love all the white with the green crate. I really like the night picture with just the lights from the cabinets.

  6. I want to go shopping in your basement! lol I love the whites on top of your cupboards and it looks so lovely at nighttime as well. It certainly is a great feeling when you know it's all cleaned up there. I did mine just before Christmas but I know that soon I'll have to do it again, it collects dust and grease so easily in the kitchen. xoxo
