I did a table this morning for the upcoming holiday. The whole table was inspired by these flopping peonies.
I posted it on my tablescaping blog. If you are interested, you can read about it here.
Making Miscellaneous Christmas Quilt Blocks

At the moment, I have no idea what will become of these quilt blocks I have
been making for the past couple of weeks. I guess they will remain in this
bin...

Love those flopping peonies..great tablescape, Zoey. Here we have the big celebration on July 1..red and white!
ReplyDeleteAwesome peony bush you have there!
I like those candles, and the somewhat incongruous red wine glasses on a gingham tablecloth. You're all set for the holiday now.
ReplyDeleteBetty, It took 15 years to get a bloom on that bush!!! LOL. I guess I finally moved it to a place it liked. It's been blooming for a few years now.
ReplyDeleteKaren, I almost ued less formal blue glasses, but I decided I like the mix--a sort of rustic formal. We are just about ready to have dinner on it for the first time.
Oooooh!!! Your peony finally bloomed. It's gorgeous. I only got that one bud this year.
ReplyDeleteHappy July 4th in advance to you lot down south. It was Canada day here yesterday July 1st.
ReplyDeleteHope everyone has a good one!
