Aqua Paint-a-thon

I had to make a quick run to Ace Hardware Saturday afternoon to get some spray paint to match the gallon of aqua paint I have been using for all my garden/deck accessories.  Brushes are OK for the big stuff, but sometimes a girl just needs the ease of  a spray can.

I found a pretty good color match and turned these chairs from this...
to this in a matter of minutes.

Once I get a can of paint in my hand, I go nuts.  It does not matter to me if the container is already planted. I just cover the foliage and start spraying.
I had a  number of aqua items before, but now I have at least twice as many scattered around the deck and gardens.

Couldn't resist making some of the wine cork herb markers that I have been seeing all over the net.

I still have more chairs to paint, but we got a lot of rain Sunday, so everything was too wet.

  1. Spray paint is one of my best friends...great color....don't forget to spray seal the writing on your plant tags, even sharpies fade in the sun and rain...

  2. What a great idea. Simple yet innovative. Can't wait try it too. Thanks!!

  3. the blacksmith loves that Rustoleum! Can't say he's ever used Aqua! Mix in some pink, I think that would look lovely!
Glad you all got rain. We got 1/2 inch saturday night and were excited at that!

  4. following your efforts in the garden is always a delight! And now you've landed on my fav color! Everything looks grand!

  5. That color is so striking in the garden.I painted some of my birdhouses that color last year. I love it in clothing too and turquoise jewelry. I think it looks good with all hair colors.

  6. I have been eyeing those cork markers too..will just have to get some going, look great on the forks!
    That aqua color is pretty.

  7. Oh, you've been having fun! Love the 'almost' Robin's egg color. Painting sure gives things a face lift. I still have to paint my medicine cabinet. My bathroom face lift sure has done wonders for that little space.
    Cute herb markers too!
