Way more than the two to four inches we expected.
I plan to stay home all weekend and enjoy it from within my cozy, comfy little home. DH is out snowblowing right now and I have hot coffee all set for when he comes in.
I am hoping to bake some English muffin bread tomorrow, do a bit of cleaning and some sewing. Maybe I will get that apron done. This will be a cocooning weekend for sure.
How about you?
Let the Basting Begin!

I am using my dining room table to baste this big one -- it's about 105 x
105 inches (king size).
It's been a while since I've finished one this big.

You didn't want to go out snowmobiling?? Aw, c'mon, Zoey!

We finally got some good riding in this morning. Lots of baking and painting and reading all day. Sounds good enough to do the same all weekend.
Have a great "cocooning"!
Hi Sue,
ReplyDeleteIt has been a gazillion years since I have been on a snowmobile. I remember it used to be fun. I bet you had a good time this morning!
That is a lot of snow. So glad we didn't get that much. Just a small amount here but the freezing rain has been a problem with it. Yours look like snowcycles sticking out of the ground. Stay warm and enjoy your sewing.

I'm hibernating too. Homemade soup, bread pudding, and a baked chicken will be on our menu. Reading, TV, painting, knitting...hope I get it all done LOL

Your garden is stunning in the snow, and it's a perfect wknd to stay inside! We've still had just dustings of snow. I miss the beauty, but driving in snow and ice, I can do without! lol
ReplyDeleteHugs, Beth
You got a lot more than we did. We were supposed to get up to 8" and we got about 3-4". But I am still inside enjoying a fire with a cup of hot coffee. xo Diana
ReplyDeletebeautiful! Seems like everyone in MI got a ton of snow today...except us here in metro-Detroit! Barely a half inch =( Stay in, read, sew--enjoy the pretty white stuff!
ReplyDeleteYour garden looks beautiful all covered with snow. We only got a dusting yesterday and the day before. Today was bright and sunny. Good think we didn't get much snow as we would have had a 2 day blizzard with all the wind we had.
ReplyDeleteHave a relaxing, cocooning weekend!
Your photos of the snow are enchanting. I'm just glad you have the white stuff!!This is definately a weekend to cacoon. Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteI love your snow fall. Which we had it. We got less than 2 inches. Another snow is predicted the middle of next week.
ReplyDeleteHappy sewing!!!
The photos are lovely, Zoey. Even for the white death, it looks pretty!
ReplyDeleteZoey, I am soooooo envious of your white stuff! Your weekend sounds enticing too!
ReplyDeleteThat snow is so pretty! We don't have much here, very strange winter.
ReplyDeleteI like the part about staying in, sounds cozy.
Winter has arrived big time in your areas~~! I believe I would stay tucked in too.
ReplyDeleteOh geez-that's a good dump! Nothing here, but bitter cold.
ReplyDeleteI have those last few decorations to put away, but that opened up a can of worms. I got a helper, but he's pooping out on me, but I can't leave it the way it is, so going back down to do a little more. My right lower back is complaining a little more each day.
Keep warm!
