Well, at least the piecing is finished.

It still needs to be sandwiched and quilted. The snowmen all need buttons added, but they will get in the way of the quilting, so I will add them last.

I added the corner star units last night.

For now I will just fold it up and tuck it away--never to see the light of day again. No, no, just kidding. I need to finish the one I am quilting now before I start this one.

  1. Beautiful Zoey!
My goodness, you do good work!
Do you then hand-quilt your work?
Do you have one of those big quilt frames?

  2. Great Quilt! I sure hope you do not tuck it away forever. I hope you finish it to use next winter.

  5. Thanks, ladies.

Yes, Linda, I have one of those BIG quilt frames, but I never use it. I like the smaller round hoops so I can sit in the lazy boy in front of the TV.

Debbi, It's next in line to be quilted. But that may not be until fall.

Dianne, Interesting you should mention that. I've been thinking of doing a floral. Do you remember way back when I bought those quilting books, I showed a pic of some very detailed paper-pieced florals with insanely tiny pieces? I said I'd never be able to make one of those. Well, I think I may be ready to try one now. We shall see.
