just remember that there are worse jobs!
Cleaning/painting water towers just might be one of them. :)
My Sedum Autumn Joy has turned to a darker pink/burgundy color.
I like when they turn dark because all the bees leave. Have you ever noticed that? When light pink there are 100's of bees in this area. Once they turn this color, I hardly see any bees. Since this is the area where visitors walk up to my front door, I prefer no bees!
Let the Basting Begin!

I am using my dining room table to baste this big one -- it's about 105 x
105 inches (king size).
It's been a while since I've finished one this big.

Mine have turned dark pink also. No bees either now but it's getting cooler so I'm not seeing them out at all really. Have a nice weekend.

I drove up to find a man taking photos of my Autumn Fire in the alley garden. I just waved but I think I frightened him as he turned quickly and started walking.

I wouldn't want that water tower job for sure...such pretty fall color...
ReplyDeleteOh that 9-5 line is too funny. No way could I do that, I can't do heights!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
Love the Autumn Joy Sedum when it turned to the dark pink!
ReplyDeleteThat's funny you should mention horrible jobs like that...we thought of some on a trip once-how about cleaning up roadkill? Scraping gum off the floor in the mall...you get the idea.
ReplyDeleteI love the mauve color of the Autumn Joy. I am happy to see bees on it as they are said to be scarce.
HA! So true! I would pass out if I had to do that job! Your fall color is stunning!
