I just can't seem to win this year!
Yes, it's been raining for two days and the weather report calls for at least another day of rain. I guess it will be a while before I can begin my garden clean up.
I hope where ever you are, you are having better weather.
I am linking to Cottage Flora Thursday (even though I haven't much flora today). Go to Fishtail Cottage to check out some actual flowers.
Let the Basting Begin!

I am using my dining room table to baste this big one -- it's about 105 x
105 inches (king size).
It's been a while since I've finished one this big.

Zoey, oh, me too! It looks just the same way here. If we could only share our rain with those less fortunate. Wouldn't it be great to order up sunshine and rain when we need it? Ok, I'll quit dreaming.
ReplyDeleteNope, having the same weather as you...WET! lol It's been raining every day this week and tonight they're saying severe thunderstorms and more rain tomorrow. I was hoping to clean out my faerie garden as well as my flowerbeds this week but not with all this rain. Maybe we should buy a snorkel and go looking for flowers under all that water?? lol xoxo
ReplyDeleteP.S. I did email Karen to let her know that Roamy was here with me:-)
Karen, I think you, me and Pea get the same crappy weather!
ReplyDeletePea, a snorkel sounds good--that is the only way I am going to see any flowers! LOL
I am sure Karen will be glad to see that her "son" has arrived!
We are getting tons of rain also but no flooding here yet. Some areas around us are at the flood stage. They are predicting rain again tomorrow!

so sorry Zoey...hopefully it will clear up soon for you...
ReplyDeleteMaybe you could get some goldfish???
ReplyDeleteLOL
That's the saddest I've ever seen your beautiful gardens. I hope it dries up quickly!
ReplyDeleteOh no! I hope it dries up quick. Praying for no flooding or tornadoes today.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness...this must be very distressing. Our problem here is the opposite, we don't ever get enough rain. But this must be so discouraging for you. I hope it dries up soon so you can get back into your garden. Your arbors are beautiful and I am sure the rest of the garden is too.
ReplyDeleteOh bless your heart hope it clears up soon and you are out there enjoying your garden again..
ReplyDeletehugs from Savannah, Cherry
I was looking back at last year on this date. What a difference a year can make. My old gardens used to look like that in the early spring. Just keep in mind that soon your gardens will be beautiful again. Balisha
ReplyDeleteOh no.....maybe you put some gold fish out there while you away your garden? Thanks so much for linking up to Cottage Flora Thursday's xoox, tracie
