Making Miscellaneous Christmas Quilt Blocks
-
At the moment, I have no idea what will become of these quilt blocks I have
been making for the past couple of weeks. I guess they will remain in this
bin...

I love your idea of using parts of the village throughout your decor. I would not have thought of doing that. We just returned from dinner at our daughter's and she's done her kitchen in a gingerbreadman theme. I love yours and hers!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Michigan! I can tell you really love your gingerbread men and blue jean stockings as you used them again. Looks so festive there!
ReplyDeleteI hung a wreath on the door and a swag over the doorway in the family room-that's it. I did almost all my cards and need to get some packages sent and I'll go to town.
O! Your decorations are realy beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe allium makes a unique decoration; who would have thot??
Got all my cards ready to mail, since I had a sometime so I will get them out soon...and most of my baking...once I get started, I can't stop!
Thanks for sharing you lovely home. ;

Sue, please post pics of your daughter's kitchen on your blog! I would love to see it.
ReplyDeleteDianne and Sandra, I hardly ever send cards any more. I used to love getting them. I remember my Mom hanging them all around the archway. It was a lovely tradition. Glad to see it has not died out completely (except in my home).
So beautiful, Zoey!! I love the idea of small trees on top of different cabinets, wonderful idea! And yessss I had guessed right that it was the allium you had used:-) Love the themes you went with, just soooooo gorgeous!!!!! I don't know if it's part of getting older or what but after I'd done my decorating, my body was aching for days after! Bah Humbug! lol
