Making Miscellaneous Christmas Quilt Blocks
-
At the moment, I have no idea what will become of these quilt blocks I have
been making for the past couple of weeks. I guess they will remain in this
bin...

Gorgeous-the yellow ones appear to be standing at attention!
ReplyDeleteOoooh I love your Callas...so very gorgeous!!How long do Callas usually bloom for? Love the daylily also...simply wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThose callas are very pretty for some reason I do not have much success with them.

That's a big, full daylily, with lots of healthy buds happening (in spite of the heat). Is it fragrant?
ReplyDeletePea, the callas bloom for about 3 weeks.
ReplyDeleteDianne, they sure do stand like soldiers. (which can make them very difficult to work with). Like this planter would normally be among a bunch of others, so they were not so stiff looking. But this year I just left it as is.
Pat, I just cut them off in the fall and stick the whole container (soil and all) in the crawl space under the house. Probably where you are, they stay in the ground?
Karen, I thought the same. Couldn't believe how many buds it has this year. It is not fragrant...at least I don't think so. Next time I walk past it, I will stick my nose in to make sure. :)
