The color is just beginning in my borders. The orange daylilies just started. In a day or two there will be big drifts of Shasta daisies. After work today I went around with scissors and a bucket and cut down all of the spent chives. It was a big improvement just getting rid of those. I have been trying to get pictures of the entire area, but I can't seem to get it all. There are 4 more beds in front of the border to the left and also 4 more on the right. I tried to get a pic of the left side, but the sun was casting too many shadows. If you walked a little further up this border you would go under my main arbor and be facing the area shown in the pictures below.
