We saw very little color, but the September scenery was gorgeous!
This path is just a short distance from one of the main roads in our town. The bridge in the distance is the road. You would never know that this beauty existed just a few feet away as you traveled through our town.
Did you see the reflection of the trees & the clouds in the water?
A lone swan...
More swans.......
swans through the pine tree...
Tree about to fall into the river...
Our town has miles of walking/bike trails. We walked only about a half mile into this trail. I plan to go again in a week or two when the fall color explodes....I doubt it can be any more lovely than it was today.
Looks like you are starting fall out on the right foot. The sky even looks bluer on days like these.

We can't believe how gorgeous it has been this week!
DeleteGorgeous! Good idea Zoey..get out there soon again to enjoy those beautiful trails!
ReplyDeleteI went hoping for more fall color to use on my work Facebook page. Now I will have to go again next week. :)
DeleteHi Zoey, beautiful area to walk, look at that scenery! Our weather is the same as yours right now, almost perfect. I wish we could hang on to it for another few months, don't you?
ReplyDeleteYes, Karen, it has been PERFECT for me....I like low to mid 70's. Yes, I wish it would hang around until Dec. 24. :)
DeleteWhat a wonderful walk you have to go one. We are hoping to take a long drive this weekend. You do live in a beautiful place.
ReplyDeleteYes, I do, Betty. Tomorrow I am driving over 4 hours north to Tahquamenon Falls in the upper peninsula. I am hoping for some gorgeous fall color there!
DeleteThanks for the sight seeing tour. I especially loved the swans!.
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful. I never tire of photographing them!
DeleteWhat beautiful photos! What? You didn't look for geocaches? Carole and I are disappointed. ;)
ReplyDeleteHi Dianne,
DeleteThis is just 2 miles from my home. Just a few more feet into this path there is a cemetery, then it turns into another path along the water and thru a duck park. There are many geos here, but we have never looked for them. Maybe some day when I retire and have more time! :)
