I set a fairly simple table with a very easy centerpiece of pinecones and green glass & silver mesh balls. I nestled six votive candles among the greens.
These amber glasses are circa 1974.
I like this table. I like the simplicity and how it blends so nicely with the bronze/green Christmas tree.
The second table is also set. I don't have enough of the same dishes, etc., so I did it differently, yet not glaringly so. I still used pine cones in the centerpiece and green plates.
I reversed the glassware/napkins colors. The pink tablecloth goes with the pink hydrangea tree as this table sits right next to that tree. It is a bit crowded with this table in the living room, but I guess being "cozy" is just part of the holiday season.
Still working on the String Thing

Here is where I am now:
Still don't know what it will end up as, but eventually it will be *

Zoey it is really lovely. I like how you reversed things for the two tables. It all fits together and really works well.

Gorgeous! You always do a great job.
Beautiful, you and my sister in law would get along great with all your dishes!
Great job Zoey..are you tired yet??
Just lovely. I should be ashamed of myself-I don't do it up for the holidays. I got rid of everything when we moved and have never replaced. I never miss it, until I see beautiful spreads like yours. Ah well, thank goodness for the internet!
:)
BEAUTIFUL!! I love the chargers and the glasswear - I've always wanted those in RED!
Awesome! It's nice you are entertaining so many people can see this in person. I hope the dinner goes dashingly well.
Oh Zoey, it's gorgeous and as they say, sometime going "simple" is the best way. It's going to feel weird not setting a Christmas dinner table over here this year, we're going to spend Christmas at Corey & Kristen's place. Hmmm, maybe I can use some of your ideas for New Year's:-) xoxo
