I must admit that I am not in love with this plant. Many people rave about it, but as yet I have not been overcome with the same emotion.The leaves do stay green, but really they are not that beautiful. A hosta leaf (in my humble opinion) is much more lovely.
I guess I should have picked off the brown-edged leaves. In fact, I did pick off some a few weeks ago, but I see I missed a few.
Maybe they just need to get bigger to look better?

Oh, I love your moss-covered rock! I'm pretty sure I'm with you on the hosta being nicer, but I've never had a bergenia so I might not be qualified to comment.
