Can You Guess What this Tall Focal Point Container Began Life As?

Look way down the center path to the end.  Do you see the tall planter in the center of the Sedum Autumn Joy?

Any idea what this container began its life as in 1978?

  1. Well, it looks like it has tiny little pebbles or stones stuck into some type of cement material. Was it a post holder for a sign?

    1. It does have tiny pebbles and it is a cement material. But not a sign post.

  4. Concrete drainage pipe? Your yard is gorgeous, we are still above 100° during the day in Arizona, and my yard is just struggling to survive.
