Word Verification Problems

Anybody else having problems leaving comments on blogs using word verification?

It keeps telling me it's wrong, even when it's correct.  It's been happening for about a week.   I am now done trying!

Being unable to leave comments, freed up a little shopping time for me. :)

I need  (OK, I want) a few warm casual weekend items. Those two fleece jackets should be cozy autumn additions!

    I am having a TERRIBLE time with it--sometimes it's 3 times--and I finally give up without leaving a comment. Very frustrating. I don't have it anymore and haven't had any problems. I'm about to give up on the blogs that DO have it.

    I am having the same problems with it. You really don't need it anymore with the spam feature.

    I am so glad to know it's not just me! I removed it from my blog months ago and have had no problems. I hope those who have it will consider removing it. It's very frustrating!

    I haven't so far, but another blog I follow said she couldn't leave them with word verification so apparently it's a problem. Heck they can't get around to fix my gfc since March.

    Yes, I fear those that won't turn the word verification off are going to lose comments...nice jackets! I'm really stuck between the red and the green one.

    I've given up on the word verification...I'll visit...but I don't even bother trying to leave a comment..cute jackets...

    I think that is a smushed up K before the i. I only try once (sometimes twice) before I move on. I think a lot of people -especially new bloggers- don't even know they have it on. so frustrating. Enjoy your shopping! xo Diana

    I just keep asking for another word verification until I get one I can read. I've had problems leaving comments on blogs because Google asks me for my password and I give it to them and when I click on "Publish Your Comment" my comment disappears.

    I've had trouble too. It really takes up time that could be spent on other things. I only do it two times, then I give up and forget the comment.

    Diane is right, you need to type in the number first. That being said, the "words" have gotten a lot more difficult to discern. Once I tried 5 times before I got it right. I won't do that anymore. One thing that really annoys me is when a person has the w.v., then you type it in correctly, and you get the message that comment moderation is enabled. Why in the world would a person NEED both???? A personal pet peeve for sure.

    It wants you to enter the number, too. Not just the word. Which is confusing.

I appreciate you taking the time and effort to leave a comment. I will try to answer any questions you have. Please note due to Blogger changing word verification so almost nobody can read it, I have had to change to no word verification and only allow registered users to comment.
