Iris and Allium

I just loved the color of this iris with the allium Christopherii. The allium is very tiny this year. It should be as big as a bowling ball. All of my allium get smaller as they age.

Here's another allium, although it looks totally different than the big purple balls we are used to.

It's allium Molly, a short yellow variety. Mine has been spreading quite nicely. I leave the seed heads on this one to encourage it to do so.

Just more purple iris. I like the rusty wheel and milkcan with these.

  3. That's a great shot, the iris with the wheel and milkcan. It has such a country-woodsy feel to it.

  4. Really like that yellow allium - how tall does it get? The iris are simply stunning.

  5. The allium in the first picture may be small but it sure looks like it would be right at home in a Fourth of July fireworks show. Maybe next year I'll try them! Great shots as usual, Zoey!
