Sedum Autumn Joy at its Peak

A couple of weeks ago it looked like this.

In addition to 'Autumn Joy', I have some variegated Stonecrop which I believe is 'Frosty Morn'. It is growing in the center of the arbor and continues around toward the backyard.

I love the foliage of 'Frosty Morn' (as well as the name. Don't you just love to say, 'Frosty Morn'? LOL).

I am not in love with the smaller more loosely clustered flower heads that remain a very light pink. You can barely even notice that they are pink.
It also seems to flop easily while my 'Autumn Joy' remains standing tall. Although this year the AJ is not tall at all. I do believe our lack of rain in June and July is to blame for the shorter stature of all of my flowers this year.

  1. I love sedum. And the frosty morn is on my 'Must have' list!

  2. I have some variegated sedum too. Don't know if it's "Frosty Morn" or not, but I agree, that's fun to say, isn't it?
