Double Nine Stashbuster is Finished

You may have noticed that I have not posted much in the past 4 days. Most of my free time was spent finishing the binding on this quilt.

Tonight while Katie Couric was making her CBS Evening News anchor debut, I finished binding the last edge.
Yes, siree, Katie and I both had a memorable evening tonight!

Giddy,
I do hope I inspire you to get that Lone Star out and finish it. You will feel so good when it's done!

  2. How lovely! What will happen to it now? Do you have a place for it, or will it be a gift?

  6. Thanks, guys. I will fold this one and put it away until next summer. It's a lighter weight so will be perfect for summer.

Lori, Don't feel bad. I have two pairs of pants that I bought in July still waiting to be hemmed.

TWT, I was not too impressed with Katie as the news anchor. She just does not have that commanding voice like so many other news anchors. I wonder what the real critics are saying.

  7. Maybe this weekend I'll get the quilt top out of the chest and see just what I need to do to get myself enthused. I just have too many knitting projects going at the moment.

  9. Zoey, your quilt is gorgeous! Love the color combination. Looks pretty with the Autumn Joy :)

You menioned that my veronica still looks good. I wanted to let you know that the picture I posted was taken in late July. The veronica is still blooming, but it doesn't have that many blooms now. It's put on a really good show though, for a long time. I love a plant that does that!
