Loving my Gardens this Year

We have had tons of rain and it shows in the nice green grass paths that make or break my garden display. May 11, 2024

I have no automatic watering, so I am dependent on Mother Nature and so far this year she has not let me down.

  1. Your gardens are lovely. We moved here to the foothills 3 years ago and I am finally experiencing the sread of all the perrinials I have planted. My longest and most difficult garden is on a serious slope, but finally, the day lilies and iris are spreading. My hibiscus is putting on quite a show right now and I just planted gladiola that had spread beyond a small plot. Don't know why, but my coneflowers die each winter! I plant them every year, plants, not seed. I will just keep trying.

    1. Kathy, I have not had much luck with coneflowers either. I have a small amount that come back, but they are small and not nearly the display I would like!
