I took these two pics five minutes ago from one of my windows:
Isn't it beautiful?
We are having a late February winter snow storm...heavy wet snow that looks gorgeous in the trees.
We are only getting 5 or 6 inches, but southern MI is getting at least double that. We got just enough to be beautiful, yet not a major pain. My condolensces to any readers are are getting the BIG storm.
Yesterday I took this pic.
Any idea what those are?
They are turkey tracks!
Here are all the turkeys that just passed through when I went outside yesterday.
Snow or not, I hope you all have a lovely last-of-Feburary-2012 weekend.
Beautiful photos, Zoey. Seems we're getting more snow at the end of winter than when we should have.
ReplyDeleteThe snow is pretty on the trees. I was going to say those look turkey tracks in the snow.
ReplyDeleteWe got more snow last night than any other snowfall we've had but it still wasn't much. But it is snowing quite a bit now. Not sure how much we are suppose to get. We just knew we would get some at the end of the season.
It is beautiful in photos. Yours look lovely, even the turkeys. We are suppose to get something, but so far it's just been high winds and very few snow flakes. Still watching to see what else happens. Stay warm.

Zoey, That's what our yard looked like too, although much of it has melted already. I loved seeing the turkeys! Very cool!

We had that storm as well and it snowed all day Friday and Saturday. It's snowing again today and I'm so NOT impressed! lol It's 21F right now. Your pictures are gorgeous, I just love it when the trees get loaded with snow like that. I took pictures from the windows, didn't go out all weekend. xoxo
ReplyDeleteIt's so pretty-missed it this year, but it's a lot of work to clean up after.
