Friday the 13th Brings a Lot of Snow

Way more than the two to four inches we expected.

I plan to stay home all weekend and enjoy it from within my cozy, comfy little home. DH is out snowblowing right now and I have hot coffee all set for when he comes in.

I am hoping to bake some English muffin bread tomorrow, do a bit of cleaning and some sewing.  Maybe I will get that apron done.  This will be a cocooning weekend for sure.

How about you?

  1. You didn't want to go out snowmobiling?? Aw, c'mon, Zoey!
    :D

We finally got some good riding in this morning. Lots of baking and painting and reading all day. Sounds good enough to do the same all weekend.

    Have a great "cocooning"!

  2. Hi Sue,
It has been a gazillion years since I have been on a snowmobile. I remember it used to be fun. I bet you had a good time this morning!

  3. That is a lot of snow. So glad we didn't get that much. Just a small amount here but the freezing rain has been a problem with it. Yours look like snowcycles sticking out of the ground. Stay warm and enjoy your sewing.

  5. Your garden is stunning in the snow, and it's a perfect wknd to stay inside! We've still had just dustings of snow. I miss the beauty, but driving in snow and ice, I can do without! lol

  6. You got a lot more than we did. We were supposed to get up to 8" and we got about 3-4". But I am still inside enjoying a fire with a cup of hot coffee. xo Diana

  8. Your garden looks beautiful all covered with snow. We only got a dusting yesterday and the day before. Today was bright and sunny. Good think we didn't get much snow as we would have had a 2 day blizzard with all the wind we had.
    Have a relaxing, cocooning weekend!

  15. Oh geez-that's a good dump! Nothing here, but bitter cold.
I have those last few decorations to put away, but that opened up a can of worms. I got a helper, but he's pooping out on me, but I can't leave it the way it is, so going back down to do a little more. My right lower back is complaining a little more each day.
    Keep warm!
