Who Can Identify this Plant?

I acquired this plant from the funeral and I don't know what it is.

I can't believe florists don't put an identification tag in the plants they send.  I think it may be some sort of interestingly-colored rubber tree as the leaves are heavy and rubbery.

I am not good with indoor plants. This past summer I tossed two Christmas cactus plants that were a gift about 7 years ago. They never quite died, but they never really took off. They looked pretty sad in August, so I threw them out.   This plant fits quite nicely in this spot and I would like to find out what it is so I can try to give it proper care.  So if you know anything about how to care for it, please leave a comment.

  1. Looks like variegated rubber plant (Ficus elastica 'Doescheri') to me.

  3. Like you I don't know inside plants anymore. Call the florist and ask what they sent you, even though the above seem like good opinions.
