It is With a Heavy Heart that I Make this Post

on December 14th, my father-in-law  passed away.

About mid-morning today this rainbow appeared directly over the cross at this church next to my office at work. I don't think I have ever seen a rainbow in December. We like to think it is a sign that he made it to a better place.

His funeral will be Saturday morning.  May he rest in peace.

  2. I am sorry for your loss. I too see rainbows often at appropriate times. It's kinda of cool and thought provoking. When my sister passed at age 50 during the Christmas break in Wyoming with 19" of snow and 10 degrees, I looked up and saw a rainbow during the burial. Wheh. that was tough. Nice to visit your blog. God Bless. Greg.

  10. I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your FIL Zoey.It is so hard to lose those we love at any time of the year but at this time of the year it seems harder. The rainbow seems so appropriate as a sign when your hearts are heavy that he is at peace. My heart felt sympathy to your families, Hugs.
