You Can't Tell What's in a Box by its Size

Today this big box arrived. It is full of smaller boxes.

I bet you are thinking I got a bunch of clothes, aren't you?

No clothes.

You will be surprised what little there is in this big box.

That's it. I can hold it all in one hand.

Can you tell what it is?

It's 6 delightful little orange flower-petal shaped salad plates!

Aren't they the cutest?

They are going to go nicely with so many items I already have, like that bright table runner behind them.

I've been doing a bit of sewing to get some projects finished before I start my gardening.

The snow is almost gone in many of my garden areas and I hope to be able to get out there as soon as it warms up to begin the spring clean up. That could be a while yet because the first three days of this week they are predicting snow. I hear some of you in Michigan got 6 inches today! We didn't get a flurry, which was nice for a change.

Well, I have to go stir my chicken soup I am making for later in the week.

I hope you all had a good weekend. I will be visiting soon.

  4. Hi Zoey,
What cute little plates! They must have packed them extremely well :)
Sunshine here, and lots of it! We got most of our veggies in today and a few herbs as well.

  5. I was wondering what you had been up too. Sewing! That's good.
We had snow flurries as we took our evening walk tonight, then sleet, now it's just plain ole 37 degrees.

  6. I'm not one to collect such things, but do recognize the allure they might hold for folks that do. Nice.

  7. HI Deb, Thanks for stopping by.

Betty, That would be a great guess! I am glad it was wrong, though, because it would take a ton of work to plant a big box like that one full of flower bulbs! :)

    Dani,
They came pretty quickly. I don't know when I will use them on table.

Susie, SEnt some sunshine here, please.

Patti, It's about the same temp here...too darn cold!

TC, Aren't you in a warm weather state vacationing? I hope you didn't get snow when you were expecting spring weather!
