A Sailor's View of the Soo Locks

We had the most wonderful day in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan (the first city in Michigan, by the way).

We have been there many times, but this time I convinced DH to take the narrated boat tour and we cruised the St. Mary's River along the historic waterfronts of Michigan and Canada for three delightful hours on a perfect summer day.

I made a slide show. Be forewarned that the last picture is very ra*cy...therefore you must be a least 21 years of age to view this slide show.

  3. When all of us 5 kids were out of school one long ago summer, my parents took us on a driving vacation - making a wide loop from Chicago all the way around Lake Michigan. We stopped in Sault Ste. Marie and saw the locks.
Looks like it's still fun, Zoey!

  4. Neat trip, Zoey! And yes, that's very racy of you. Nothing like a well-placed book.

Oh, your dinner looked so good, and so did the drink that went with it!
