I have spent hours today trying to figure out how to do this! After two hours trying to upload to Blogger's new video upload, I gave up and went to YouTube. Somehow I got myself an account and uploaded it--it took over an hour to upload to YouTube!
Remember when viewing that it IS my FIRST, especially when you are looking at the wall planter sideways at the very end. :)
I would have redone it, but my battery died and it will be hours before it's charged up again. So it is what it is.
Also do take into account that my voice wll blare forth soon after you click on it, so you may not want to view it when you shouldn't be reading blogs (like at work).
Here goes, let's see if it works....
Awesome! How nice to hear your friendly and professional voice! Bri was watching too and we both thought you sounded like a HGtv hostess. Gardening with Zoey sounds nice.
ReplyDeleteShame on DH for running off-lol
Sorry it took so long to upload. We have only made a few 30 second ones. I should try the tour of our my flowers too.
Bravo, Zoey! That was great, and I am so impressed that you got it on your blog, tedious as it was to upload it. Yeah, HGTV hostess for sure!
ReplyDeleteP.S. The dubious gardener would have run too, but not without a few choice words!
How fun to put a voice with your blog!! I think the video was great and you sounded so relaxed - I agree with the HGTV hostess concensus. I simply adore your porch - it's so pretty and warm and welcoming. Your containers are beautiful. And I totally loved the last wall planter - when I tip mine up like that, all the dirt falls out - LOL!
ReplyDeleteLove it, love it, love it. Well done Zoey - you are a brave woman and it was soooo professionally done. I really enjoyed the tour and the funny thing is you sounded the way I imagined you would.....so work that one out....vbg. Please, please, please (sorry working in three's here) do more video of your garden. It's like having a personal tour and just fascinating to see what is around.
ReplyDeleteBoy, I leave town for a couple of weeks and you've turned into a movie director... very nice, Zoey, and Dianne has pegged it perfectly - you have a very clear and professional sounding voice.
ReplyDeleteYour older posts were fun to catch up with, too - from fashion to iris to the lovely allium Christophii, to cannas to cooking... also had a smile from the Chinese laundry figure puzzle. I've seen them in antique stores so would have gotten that one right, anyway!
Annie at the Transplantable Rose
Love the video Zoey. Mom
ReplyDeleteThank you all for taking the time to listen and comment. I must say it's a lot more difficult than you may think to talk while taking the pics. It's amazing how you forget what all the flowers are!
ReplyDeleteDianne,
You are so kind. Thank you.
I don't blame DH for running off. I would have done the same if my crazy spouse came up the steps with a camera! LOL. Do make a video of your own. I would love to see it!
lostroses,
Yes, it was tedious, but fun, too. I would love to learn how to do a little editing on videos. I guess there must be some special software.
Kris, LOL. I will have to remember NOT to turn the camera if I do this again. That's one of the things I wish I knew how to edit out.
Calidore,
Now I am dying to know how you thought I would sound! LOL.
Annie,
So nice to see you again. Hope you had a good time. I will have to head on over and see what you were up to the past two weeks.
Mom,
You haven't commented in a long time! Thank you.
Oh Zoey, I so enjoyed this video you made and I must say you did a terrific job with it! It was so lovely to hear your voice:-) Your deck is just gorgeous with all the flowers surrounding it and I can see why it's your favourite place to be!! xox
ReplyDeleteZOEY!!! WOW! I loved the video!! And YES, I would love to come back and see more of your lovely garden and home and quilts on video!!
ReplyDeleteYou have such a warm, soothing voice... you are very good at this Zoey! Love your deck!
Pea and Linda,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for taking the time to view it and for the nice comments.
You have a career in the movies! I loved the tour of your deck. I know this was tediuous and thank you!
