Are you wrapping a bunch of gifts and have no name tags?
Well, don't despair. I know you have a computer, so you can do the same thing I did and make your own.
You probably have some sort of label maker program on your computer. I used Publisher and made a whole page with just a few clicks. You can use plain copy paper if that's all you have, but a higher weight paper would be nicer. If you really want to go hog wild, get some Avery label paper. You can then just pull off the backing and stick the tag to your gift.
Another thing I like to do is use old greeting cards for name tags.
Just cut off whatever portion of the card you want to use and put a "to" & "from" on it.
On this card, I just cut off the bottom portion and put the "to"/"from" on the inside of it.
I added a couple of gold pinecones and it was complete. The name tag became an important element of the design.
Beautiful tags. I esp love the one with the pinecones!

I do the same thing, with the return address labels!
ReplyDeleteI would have never thought of making the beautiful one with the card, though!
Thanks for visiting my blog! Love your gift tag idea, why didn't I think of that when I ran out and WalMart didn't even have any... Your cookies and caramel corn look delicious. Merry Christmas!
