A Professor was addressing his audience on the subject of problems associated with over-population. He said, "Do you realise that somewhere in the world a woman is giving birth every 3 seonds?" A voice from the back of the room replied, "Then I suggest that we find that woman, and stop her."
I was watching CNN and they were showing Columbia Presbyterian Hospital with the baby who is "supposed" to be the 300th million. I couldn't hear the whole thing but I thought they said her name was Zoe!
That is a scary number to me...overpopulation...teen pregnancies, too many kiddos. To think the year my youngest brother was born back in 1967 it was 50 million less.
I appreciate you taking the time and effort to leave a comment. I will try to answer any questions you have. Please note due to Blogger changing word verification so almost nobody can read it, I have had to change to no word verification and only allow registered users to comment.
Reminds me of the joke I read many years ago -
