The Closest You'll Get to Gourmet Coffee in Your Own Kitchen

Ahhhhhh...............So wonderful to ease the transitional too-cold-for-summer, but not-quite-fall afternoon blahs.

It's been too damp and cool to even go out to the deck all this week. Instead I get home from work, change into a long-sleeved floor length lounger and curl up with a cuppa sweet perfection.

In the morning I like my coffee sans sugar.

But in the afternoon, I love my French Vanilla booster and I like it served in this tall glass cup. It's just not the same if served in my usual mug.

Because it's so cold, I've retired the 'Green Acres' gown until next summer, so I changed my profile pic. I had such fun chopping my face into sections! That's what you do when you get up at 2:00 a.m. and you don't go to work until 6:45 a.m. :)

I wonder if those two cups of that wonderful coffee kept me awake? I've never noticed that coffee did that to me before, but it's been a few months since I've had it after work and things change as we age...it could be I'm getting to the decaf age.

I've already had to give up all my other bad habits, I hope I don't have to give up my coffee now, too. It's not fun getting old!

  1. Ah, caffeine! I love my two cups of good old French Roast in the morning, but come afternoon, I'd better quit or I'd be like you - up at 2 a.m. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, but I am a "Beds r us Kid". And now that the nights are turning cooler,I love to snuggle under the comforter.

  4. There is no decaf age. I've been drinking decaf since my early 20s. I usually stick to tea, though.

    Love your new profile pic.

  6. hmmmmmmm.... seems like nobody drinks caffeinated coffee in the late afternoon. It's not looking good for my future caffeine consumption.

    Pea, what's a timmie?

Pat, I am never changing that profile picture!
LOL. Actually I just cut out whatever parts aren't flattering--like all the wrinkles. That's the beauty of digital photography.

I will be 51 in December so we are the same age. You're right...it sure isn't for sissies!!!
