Is that what they also call Silver Dollars or Sand Dollars? Something like that anyway! lol I used to have some growing years ago but they were taking over everything and I ended up taking them all out. Ouch for your poor hubby bumping into that thistle!!
The thistle flower has always been one of my favorite flowers and I had never seen a money plant before this picture. It's so interesting looking especially since you can see its seeds inside.
I appreciate you taking the time and effort to leave a comment. I will try to answer any questions you have. Please note due to Blogger changing word verification so almost nobody can read it, I have had to change to no word verification and only allow registered users to comment.

ReplyDeleteI just picked a bouquet of 'Money plant' yesterday! The trick is getting the seed layer off without ripping the silvery paper layer.
ReplyDeleteI love thistles, too. And, don't they look wonderful in photos?
ReplyDeleteI love the money plant, but you can have the thistle. I live on a farm and in the summer it is my job to chop the thistles along the creek bank.
ReplyDeleteDo you plant the seeds for the money plant in the fall?
Pat
