Because Abandoned in Pasadena Asked

what I do with all the arrangements I make, I thought I would show you where I put the last one

I just left the other one on the deck (you may have noticed it below in the hanging basket post)

update 5:oo p.m.

Oh, my. I guess leaving them outside in the hot sun is not a good thing. This is what it looked like when I got home from work:

Oh well, you win some, you lose some..................

  1. I am loving your arrangement, but coveting your rooster. Someone told me roosters in the kitchen bring good luck. That is the theme I used when we redid ours...

  2. Sue, I have collected those crazy roosters for about 25 years. I really don't buy them any more because I don't have any more room for them. There is just something about them I like! LOL. This guy is a cookie jar (he was a Christmas gift). I seem to gravitate to the cookie jars....maybe because I sort of collect cookie jars, too...I'm just a junk magnet! ... or used to be...I have had to almost give it up due to lack of space.

  3. Thanks for answering my question Zoey, but it's too bad about the arrangement that you left in the hot sun, on your deck.

I've also had to curb my collecting of anything for lack of space. I've given the children strict instructions on giving me anything else that I will have to store...I've told them, "no more gifts, paleese." They can take me out to eat or give me a gift certificate of a restaurant, if they insist on giving me something. Visits from them are gifts I cherish most.

  4. I've started saying the same thing, Abandoned. If it's not perishable, please don't give it to me!

  5. I have problems leaving flowers in the hot sun too. I'm ready for fall.
