Can you believe that someone would have the summer poinsietta as one of the 5 worst plants?
If you read the comments, you may have seen where Sissy alerted me to that. (By the way, if you don't read comments, you miss really getting to know everyone. In my humble opinion, comments are one of the best parts of a blog.)
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion (humble or otherwise), but I can't imagine anyone thinking a plant with such spectacular foliage could be one of the 5 worst.
I am just flabbergasted! I think it's quite stunning.
Since I have never had this plant before, it may have inferior traits that I am as yet unfamilar with. Perhaps by the end of summer I will understand why it made his top 5 list.
Hey what do they know! lol I think it's a gorgeous plant and I'm glad you got some help in identifying it!
ReplyDeleteGlad you found out what it was. I love the colors and am also flabbergasted that it in the top five worst. I always try to read the comments. I agree, that they are among the best part of blogging!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Zoey, Love that yellow watering can. The hens and chicks looks very intresting. What are they planted in?

I really like that look of grouping containers together.
ReplyDeletePat,
ReplyDeletethe hens and chicks are planted on a grapevine wreath.
Someplace in the archives I did a whole post last year about how to do it. If you do a "search this blog" at the top and put in "hens chicks" I should come up.
Hi Sue, Pea & Nelumbo. Glad you could all stop by today.
Thank you so much Zoey,I just did a search and found it I love that idea. I'm going to make one today.

ReplyDeleteI think Summer poinsettias may get leggy, so you may want to trim them like you do coleus.
