It's Toad Heaven Around Here

I guess I never realized that toads live in holes like this


Until this big guy jumped out around my feet.

If you enlarge him, you can see the mud on his hind legs.

    Nutbuk, Yes, he sure is an ugly thing, isn't he?

    They really do no harm. They eat the bad bugs,so they are good to have in the garden. :)

  5. I almost never see toads in the garden anymore! We have one teeny frog who lives inside our hose reel area.

  6. We have lots of toads around here but I never realized they lived in holes like that! Not a very handsome fellow is he! lol

  7. He's cool looking! I've only see the little leopard frogs hopping around this year-they won't even go near the pond for some reason.
