Unfortunately by the time my snow-in-summer blooms, the poppies are nearly done.
This is the only clump I have left.
I just got a call from my son. He is on his way home (he lives 250 miles away). He called to tell me they stopped at a nursery to buy plants.
Like mother, like son.
LOL
That is a lovely combination. The rain has knocked my oriental poppies about. I'm hoping they'll still be picture-worthy if and when the sun comes out tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you need rain in Michigan! As Alice says, we have plenty to spare!! And cold temps besides. It's been nasty. I'm going crazy looking out at the gardens going wild!
Oh well, it HAS to get better, right?
I so wish I could have your rain, Kerri. The grass is pretty much dead now and from what I hear no rain in the forecast all week.
ReplyDeleteMy poppies are just now starting to grow, no buds yet. It's been so cold the last week, I think all my flowers are in shock. lol
ReplyDeleteBeautiful show..do you have a woodland garden?
