Bad Font, Good Font

Why does word verification keep changing its font style?

I must say some of these are very difficult to read.

Just look at this? You have to actually study it to see if it's a "v" or a "u".

geez, can they jam these letters any closer together?
Very irritating!

Now here's a nice, easy-to-read font. Why can't they always use this one?

Just my pet peeve of the day.

  1. Gee I thought it was just me. Sometimes I have to type it in two or three times!

  2. I can't tell you how many times I have to retype those hard to read letters. We should sign a petition or something!
It looks okay down there right now. ; )

  3. Well, I guess it's serving its purpose in eliminating the spammers, and I'd rather struggle a bit with a few letters than have to read and delete loads of rubbish. But you're right, sometimes that are very difficult to decipher. Just as well it's not like the ATMs that keep your keycard if you get your pin number wrong too often.

  4. That is too funny I was just trying to use a word verification not 2 minutes ago and had to look long and hard to figure out if I was looking at a j or an i.

I appreciate you taking the time and effort to leave a comment. I will try to answer any questions you have. Please note due to Blogger changing word verification so almost nobody can read it, I have had to change to no word verification and only allow registered users to comment.
