Pine Trees

These are four of the pines that will be going. Can you see the big maple in the back?

Four will also be going from the clump on the other side.

  1. My husband is a logger. He loves to cut big trees down. He is not allowed in my yard unsupervised with a chain saw. He gets a little crazy with it sometimes!

  2. Sandy, Could I borrow him for a couple of days? LOL
I wish my husband could cut down trees. I have dozens more I could get rid of if it didn't cost so much.

  3. I can see why you want to be rid of those trees. The view of that maple will be well worth the effort. I've so enjoyed your gardening photos.

  4. I didnt believe you when you said you had ugly pines, since i love big conifers and have a fondness for them. If I had a bigger garden I certainly would have some...BUT, yes, your pines are ugly! I believe you now, LOL!

  5. I'm curious how much they charge where you live. Are they taking them down in pieces or laying them all down? Do they buck them up in pieces and haul the debris away?

  7. Yes, they ARE UGLY, GGG. Sandy, they have to climb each one because they cannot get their equipment in to that area. They will take them down in pieces and put it all thru a chipper, except for the trunks, which they cut in 8ft sections and take with them. On these 8, I have told them to leave the stumps, but usually they grind them out too (extra $50 a tree). I will pay $2,000 to get rid of these.

  8. Alice, I know I will enjoy seeing the maple. It will be a lot work to get that area fixed up, but I need a new project.

Sandy, thanks on the picture comment. I just figured out to get the profile photo, but I did not realize that EVERY time I post it gets stuck in there.
