Zoey, it is called "Phlox Little boy" (Phlox paniculata little boy)What a beautiful phlox. Phlox is one of my favorite flowers...I also love the creeping phlox. Great shot.
Thanks, taracotta. I went and googled "little boy" and it sure does sound like that is it. I also love the creeping phlox. I have a lot of it and look forward to its two-week bloom each spring. It stays nice and dark green after it blooms, too--a real positive trait in my book.
I have a pretty white phlox that just rebloomed! I also have pink and a fuchsia color my neighbor gave me years ago. I love their baby powder like scent!
Your white phlox is already reblooming? Wow, Dianne. Mine is just now beginning. I think the white I have is Mt. Fuji or something like that. Yes, they do smell nice in the evening.
I appreciate you taking the time and effort to leave a comment. I will try to answer any questions you have. Please note due to Blogger changing word verification so almost nobody can read it, I have had to change to no word verification and only allow registered users to comment.

ReplyDeleteMine is called Franz Shubert or something to that effect. It has a bit of lavender in it too.
ReplyDeleteThis looks a little more 'lilac' then mine, but here is a photo I found to share:
