As I was walking among the gardens yesterday, my eye caught movement in a decorative birdhouse next to the arbor. I glanced over and saw this frog (toad?) hanging out the hole. I don’t know what he is. Perhaps a tree frog? Anybody know for sure?
Sean looked for your fella in his book of reptiles and amphibians and we think you have a Gray tree frog there. He is suppose to have sticky pads on his toes and he has rough skin. Found mostly in mid-summer.
I appreciate you taking the time and effort to leave a comment. I will try to answer any questions you have. Please note due to Blogger changing word verification so almost nobody can read it, I have had to change to no word verification and only allow registered users to comment.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Dianne and Sean. I will take your word for the sticky toes and rough skin--because I am not touching him, that's for sure!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to start putting out bird houses!
