The rain finally came - all day today-it was a beautiful site to all gardeners in my area. I do not remember ever having such a dry spring. June is usually the one month that my grass is green and plush. This year there are already big dry dead patches.
Here is the view from my bedroom window just after the rain.
I love the way the garden looks just after a rain. Impossible to catch it on film, I've tried... I think part of it is the ions from the storm lifting your mood as you walk through all that beauty.
ReplyDeleteI am working on a woodland garden right now, and I am deflated, because mine will never look this good.
ReplyDeleteYes, Jen. I love to take a little stroll right after a rain, too. Sylvana, I am sure yours will look great. This area started as a huge weed patch invested with poison ivy. It is about 5 years old now. I still occasionally find poison ivy among the flowers.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely garden!
