The rain finally came - all day today-it was a beautiful site to all gardeners in my area. I do not remember ever having such a dry spring. June is usually the one month that my grass is green and plush. This year there are already big dry dead patches.

    I love the way the garden looks just after a rain. Impossible to catch it on film, I've tried... I think part of it is the ions from the storm lifting your mood as you walk through all that beauty.

    I am working on a woodland garden right now, and I am deflated, because mine will never look this good.

    Yes, Jen. I love to take a little stroll right after a rain, too. Sylvana, I am sure yours will look great. This area started as a huge weed patch invested with poison ivy. It is about 5 years old now. I still occasionally find poison ivy among the flowers.
