I'm sure you will be a great nurse to him but I know what you mean that it's going to be a long few weeks! lol Hopefully he will recover without the need of surgery.

Isn't it funny how our tastes change every few years? It's the same for me, so many things I didn't like years before and now I love...go figure. That ring is gorgeous in its own way and I bet you'll have gotten a lot of compliments about it at work. The vintage look in jewelry is really IN right now. xoxoCarole Buranthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05497329055251626140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6735463.post-34541532917877265052009-02-16T17:16:00.000-05:002009-02-16T17:16:00.000-05:00Glad to hear that DH is doing so well. They both sound like something I would like! I have Chambord at home (it's been in the cupboard for YEARS, so I may have to go buy some Vodka and try the French martini at home. It could be a great way to use up the Chambord!Diana LaMarrehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11324428666401187803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6735463.post-24092295706111287382009-02-16T12:26:00.000-05:002009-02-16T12:26:00.000-05:00Glad your hubby is feeling well enough to get out ...Glad your hubby is feeling well enough to get out a bit..
My daughter's favorite drink is a French martini:
vodka, Chambord (raspberry liquor) and pineapple juice, with a lemon twist and sugared rim. I've seen a lot of the larger pieces being worn lately.
Have a great week..
xoSusiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00024132046092264711noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6735463.post-9798378021400450412009-02-16T11:00:00.000-05:002009-02-16T11:00:00.000-05:00First of all, glad DH and you got to have a nice d...First of all, glad DH and you got to have a nice dinner with relatives. Yes! A week sure did make a difference. I love lobster tail!
Funny you should mention 'old' jewelry as I just worn some earrings I hadn't worn in a while on Valentine's Day. I don't know if I told you, but about in 1995, we were robbed, and they emptied out my jewelry armoire-including my class rings. So most of my stuff is from 1995 to now except for the stuff my father-in-law gave me that belonged to Bri's mom. I did have a small box with most of my better stuff (like small diamonds) that they didn't get-whew!
I've heard of lemon drops! Yum. Do try an Apricot Sour sometime. I had one the other night, but it didn't mix with the Vodka sauce on the pasta and I had severe reflux about 5 in the morning.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
