I thought it liked shade more, so that also may be the issue. And I never see it around that much either. I was looking at them the other day trying to decide if I was going to keep them for next year or not. Yours say I should but then they'll probably look bad again.

Cher Sunray GardensSunray Gardenshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06691531921190526219noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6735463.post-46095231307525896882012-07-01T11:34:18.925-04:002012-07-01T11:34:18.925-04:00It really is all about where a plant is happiest. ...It really is all about where a plant is happiest. My problem? I plant things where they like to be but end up killing them with kindness. I have an area that is HOT, sandy, and of course we never get rain. I plant things that like HOT, sandy, and dry....then proceed to mulch them and water them because, oh, the poor things--how can they bear all that heat and dryness. LOL! There is NO help for me.
Love your astilbe. I have yet to try them.Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10122524042294993949noreply@blogger.com
